Losing weight: My method and journey

I love Kpop. But it made me feel bad about myself. All those girls were so pretty. They made me feel so fat. Honestly, I'm a bit chubby. So I decided to lose some weight! I've lost 6 pounds so far and I'm planning to keep that up! This is my way of losing weight. I actually combined some diets and knowledge from Asia. Just follow these steps :)
The diet consist of 2 parts. The first part is for through the week and the other one for the weekend.
Part one - Rules for through the week
1) Eat every morning a banana. Just 1 banana is enough, but if you need a lot of energy, i.e. for your job, then you can have more. But try not to overdo it. Then drink 0,5 Liter of warm water. That's around 3 small cups or 2 large mugs if you don't know how much it is. Banana speeds your metabolisme up and by drinking water the banana will expand in your stomache. So you'll be saturated and your urge to eat is less. I like "Dole" bananas the most, they're very yummy! So BANANA!
2) The keyword of step two is portion control. Did you just hear that? Yes, right. PORTION CONTROL. Eat atleast 5-6 meals on a day. Instead of eating 3 big meals you just spread it out to get in total 6 meals. Just pretend you're in a jungle and that you have to preserve your food for later ;) It works for me. This will also speed up your metabolisme and makes your stomache shrink. Because you're feeding your body many times, it will think that there's plenty of food. If you're eating 3 meals a day, your body assumes there's not enough food because of the long gaps between the meals even though the amount is still the same.
3) Drink a lot of water! I can't emphasize this enough. Everyone knows it, but almost noone does it. You have to drink before every meal 0,5 Liter of water now. There's no skipping it! You have a lot of water buildup in your tummy. To remove this you'll have to drink a lot. Your body will be like:"Ohhhh, there's enough water now! No need to preserve it anymore." You can lose around 2 pounds with this. I'm sorry but, NO soda. Only water or in some occasions green tea. Green tea also speeds up your metabolism. You should drink some green tea with your water with your 3 most fattening meals of the day. Green tea prevents it being converted into bodyfat. But caution here: this does NOT mean you can eat whatever you like. Did you know your stomache and brains can't actually tell the difference between hunger and thirst? Well, now you do. Always make sure you drink before you eat. Mostly it's just thirst. Next if you get "hungry", drink 3 glasses of water, wait 10 minutes and see if you're still as "hungry" as before. Keyword: WATER!
4) Try to restrict bad carbohydrates and consume proteins like eggs. There are two kinds of carbohydrates. Almost all carbohydrates are bad! The good ones, complex carbohydrates, are in fruit and vegetables. Good carbohydrates makes you feel longer saturated than bad ones and are harder to convert to bodyfat. You should aim for vegetables here. Ranking good to bad: Vegetables, fruit (try to restrict this too, but it isn't bad if you don't do so. Fruit is actually suppose to be your snack/reward), rice, the rest of everthing. You can only get vegetables, rice and fruit. Your plate must consist of 70% vegetables, 20% rice, 10% meat. The rice is not neccessary and it's even better to replace rice with more vegetables (90% vegetables and 10% meat, but I won't be mad at you if you eat 80% vegetables and 20% meat). So step 4 is all about VEGETABLES. This is also the reason why Asian countries like Korea and Japan have the lowest obesity rate. They love vegetables. Celery and lettuce are very good. You burn more calories to eat them than you obtain from them.
5) Your choice of meat. It's important to choose to eat the right kinds of meat. Lean meat is the best, like chicken breast. Eat all meat without skin. Fish is also very good for you. They contains essential nutrients. All kinds of fishes are fine. Red meat must be seen as a treat as it is not very good for your diet nor your cholesterolrate. It's contains more fat. Try to cut off the fat if you eat pork. But the best meat is CHICKEN without skin. Lean meat is the key.
6) Your snacks. Beside the 5 or 6 meals you can have two snackmoments. This is not neccessary if you can keep it up without it. But sometimes you just deserve something extra for your efforts, don't you? Something healthy like tomato is recommend. But also strawberries or watermelon is very suitable. My favourite snack are plums. They prevent me from having irregular bowl movements as I tend to have a sensitive intestines. But it's up to you if you want to snack a bit. But always SNACK HEALTHY, because it's easy to eat a whole package of crisps or cookies once you've tasted a little bit of it. By tasting junk food you might lose your self control very easily.
7) Step 7 is all about exercise. I know the most people are very lazy and rather don't do anything at all beside sitting behind their computer. But I'm sorry. GO EXERCISE! Well, it's not very hard to exercise. 15 minutes of jogging each day can be enough. You don't have to exercise intensively. If you don't like jogging, you can go cycling. Just cycle leisurely and enjoy the outside world with all it's nature. Stretching also helps a lot toning the body. It will makes your rolls of fat less wiggly and if you can keep it up for a couple a months, you might even do the split! I can almost do it myself by stretching everyday. Your muscles will be very lean afterwards. Definitely worth it. Best time to exercise is right after your awake. Stretch yourself and exercise for 30-45 minutes. Don't eat anything before exercising. This will speed up your metabolisme by twice for the whole day. Exercising is really worth it. And don't exercise to lose weight, but try to exercise for fun and your health! ;)
8) Enjoy your food. If you hate what you eat you're not going to make it. So prepare things that you like to eat and varier food. Chew your food slowly so you can really appreciate the taste. It takes 20 minutes for your stomache to sign your brains that it's full. So most people overeat, which is very bad. Their stomache stretches and if there's too much calories at once to process, your body is definitely going to transform it into bodyfat. Body:" Hmmm, so much energy left! I can save this for later." You need to eat till you a 7 on a scale of 10 of fullness/saturation. That's also the reason why I advise you to drink water before your meal. Your stomache is already filled up with a lot of water preventing you from overeating. To flavour your food you can add spices. Hot spices really boosts your metabolisme a lot! So spice up your food, chew slowly, don't overeat and enjoy your food!
